The GEN-Y Hitch GH-616 MEGA-DUTY Adjustable Drop Hitch is engineered specifically for heavily lifted trucks and high-riding Class V vehicles that require an extended 15" drop to achieve a level tow with standard-height trailers. With a 21,000 lb gross trailer weight rating and a 3,000 lb tongue weight capacity on a 2.5" receiver, the GH-616 delivers the towing performance that lifted three-quarter-ton and one-ton truck owners need - without compromising on capacity or build quality. Six independently adjustable stacked receiver positions allow the dual-ball mount to be precisely set at any increment within the 15" drop range, ensuring a perfectly level trailer connection regardless of truck height or trailer coupler geometry.

What sets the GH-616 apart from shorter drop hitches is the inclusion of the GH-0101 Stabilizer Kit - a mandatory safety component for any GEN-Y hitch exceeding 12" of drop. The stabilizer kit uses screw-style adjustable bars to physically connect the bottom of the drop hitch shank to the truck's frame, transferring towing loads off the receiver and into the frame directly. This eliminates the lateral movement, slop, and leveraged stress on the receiver that would otherwise occur at this drop length, and ensures the bottom of the ball mount remains completely stationary under load. The GH-0101 is designed for 2.5" receiver applications and includes all mounting hardware required for installation. The included GH-061 Dual-Ball Mount covers both 2" and 2-5/16" ball coupler sizes in a single removable attachment, and the stacked receiver tube architecture allows bike racks, cargo carriers, or other hitch-mounted accessories to occupy the upper positions while towing from a lower slot.
