Product Description

The Gates 27315 is a 25-foot bulk roll of Barricade Carburetion Fuel Hose in 3/8-inch inner diameter - an upgraded alternative to standard SAE J30R7 fuel hose (such as Gates 27004) for applications where improved ethanol resistance and lower fuel vapor permeation are required. Built with Gates' patented five-layer GreenShield™ barrier technology, the 27315 delivers five times less vapor permeation than the nearest conventional competitor, helping reduce fuel loss and environmental emissions over the life of the hose.

Compatible with a wide range of modern and alternative fuels including E85, B100 biodiesel, methanol, and ethanol blends, this hose is the right choice for any carbureted engine build or low-pressure return line where fuel chemistry has outpaced older hose standards. The 25-foot roll can be cut to any length needed, making it practical for shop use, custom builds, or restoration projects. Note that this hose is rated for carbureted and low-pressure applications up to 50 psi - it is not suitable for high-pressure fuel injection supply lines.
