Product Description

The Gates T251RB is the RPM High Performance "Blue" timing belt for the Nissan VG30 DOHC V6 engine family, covering all 1990-1996 Nissan 300ZX (Z32) in both naturally aspirated (VG30DE) and twin-turbocharged (VG30DETT) configurations. The VG30 is a dual-overhead-cam V6 that uses one timing belt per cylinder bank, so a complete belt replacement requires two units - one for each bank.

Built with HNBR compound, aramid-reinforced teeth, and high-strength tensile cords, the T251RB is up to 300% stronger and three times more heat-resistant than conventional timing belts. It has been tested at 6,000 RPM for over 2,000 hours at 212°F - far exceeding the endurance of standard aftermarket belts. This makes it the preferred replacement for stock VG30 rebuilds and the definitive choice for modified or boosted 300ZX builds running upgraded turbos, higher boost, or elevated redlines.
