Product Description

The Garrett 934174-5009S is the GXR57-88 supercore from Garrett's G-XRace series - the 88mm inducer variant of the newly released GXR57 platform announced in May 2026. Like all G-XRace turbos, the GXR57-88 applies XBoost compressor aerodynamics to the G57 turbine frame, delivering increased compressor flow and enhanced pressure ratio capability beyond the standard G-Series G57. The 88mm compressor inducer paired with the 149mm exducer targets race builds where rapid spool and high boost pressure at lower engine speeds are the priority, while still supporting the extreme power levels demanded by top-level drag racing competition.

The GXR57-88 is supercore-only and is fully interchangeable with G-Series G57 V-Band turbine housings (1.09, 1.25, or 1.41 A/R), giving builders already running a G57 setup a direct upgrade without changes to exhaust hardware. The G57 turbine stage - featuring a 118mm/112mm Inconel wheel with 28% more flow than GTX Gen II - provides the exhaust energy capacity to fully support the GXR57's expanded compressor aero. A machined speed sensor port is included for optional overspeed monitoring. Turbine housing, speed sensor, and installation hardware are sold separately.
