Product Description

The Garrett 934173-5008S is a G-XRace GXR38-64 supercore built around a 64mm compressor inducer with a V-Band compressor outlet, rated for 500-1,250 HP on engines from 2.0L to 6.0L. Garrett's XBoost compressor aero delivers 23% greater flow than the G40-900, while the dual ceramic ball bearing CHRA and Inconel turbine wheel are built for rapid spool and reliable performance under extreme boost.

The lightweight aluminum backplate reduces rotating assembly inertia for quicker response, and the V-Band compressor outlet gives a rigid, leak-free connection for aluminum charge piping in professional race builds. As a supercore, this unit requires a separately sold matching turbine housing (choose from 0.85-1.06 A/R options in T4 divided or V-Band inlet configurations) and an external wastegate to complete the turbocharger.
