Fitment Notes

• Inlet port: Single -6AN Military (ORB) - use Fuelab port fitting #72101 (-6AN ORB to -6AN 37° flare) if connecting to AN hose ends
• Return port: Single -6AN - positioned inline with the inlet port (not on the bottom) for tight-space installations
• Gauge port: 1/8" NPT (plug included) - accepts an external fuel pressure gauge
• Pressure reference port: 1/8" NPT with barbed fitting for MAP-referenced boost/vacuum compensation
• Compatible with gasoline, diesel, methanol, ethanol, and E85 fuels
• Accepts both port-style and non-port-style union fittings without interference
• Requires an electric fuel pump capable of at least 100 PSIG outlet pressure

Product Description

The Fuelab 54501-1 is a 545 Series mini inline EFI fuel pressure regulator built for performance applications where space and weight are at a premium. At 0.6 lbs and measuring just 1.50" x 2.00" x 2.25", it is 50% lighter and more compact than the 515 and 525 Series regulators while delivering the same core functionality. The single -6AN inlet and -6AN return port are both oriented inline - not on the bottom - making it significantly easier to route fuel lines in tight engine bays, fuel cells, or custom fuel system builds.

The 25-90 PSI EFI pressure range covers the vast majority of fuel-injected performance applications, and fine thread pitch adjustment allows precise dialing. A 1/8" NPT gauge port accepts an external fuel pressure gauge, and a second 1/8" NPT reference port with barbed fitting enables boost or vacuum referencing from the intake manifold. Compatible with gasoline, diesel, methanol, ethanol, and E85. The -1 suffix designates the black anodized finish.
