Product Description

The FOX 983-02-170 is a Factory Race Series Gen 2 2.0 IFP Bump Stop for universal front applications -- commonly fitted to 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK builds and lifted trucks running FOX suspension. The threaded body allows precise adjustment of mounting height to fine-tune when the bump stop engages during upward travel, preventing harsh bottoming while maintaining full suspension travel. An Internal Floating Piston (IFP) separates oil and nitrogen to prevent cavitation and bucking, while the negative coil spring softens both initial engagement and top-out.

The integrated FOX Air Valve (FAV) is located at the bottom of the shaft for easy access and is protected by the replaceable Delrin strike pad. Sold individually -- order two for a complete axle installation. Fully rebuildable and serviceable. Backed by FOX's 1-year limited warranty.
