Product Description

The FOX 981-25-107 is a Factory Race Series 2.5" coilover remote shock with a 10" stroke, 18.50" compressed length, and 28.45" extended length. Built for off-road racing and high-performance off-road builds, the Factory Race Series is the same platform used by professional racing athletes across desert, rock, and short course competition. The 2.5" body delivers significantly more oil and nitrogen volume than a standard 2.0" shock, reducing heat buildup and maintaining consistent damping performance under sustained hard use.

The Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjuster allows independent tuning of low-speed and high-speed compression damping, letting the builder optimize for terrain, vehicle weight, and driving speed without revalving. FOX's patented internal bypass technology allows oil to flow around the piston at specific points in the stroke to support the vehicle through rough terrain while building pressure for bottom-out resistance. The 17-4 H900 stainless steel shaft resists corrosion and bending under lateral loads, and the Cerakote ceramic coating over a zinc plated basecoat provides industry-leading corrosion protection.
