Product Description

The FOX 983-02-243 is a Factory Race Series 2.0 ATS (Adjustable Through Shaft) steering stabilizer engineered as a direct-fit upgrade for the INEOS Grenadier and Quartermaster. Conventional steering stabilizers create a directional push or pull force as the shaft displaces fluid when moving in one direction -- a bias that typically requires a second opposing stabilizer to counter. The ATS architecture eliminates this at the source: the through shaft passes completely through the body in both directions, removing fluid displacement throughout the stabilizer's full travel. The result is neutral, consistent damping with no directional bias from a single compact unit.

The external piggyback reservoir uses an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) to separate the hydraulic fluid from the nitrogen gas charge, eliminating cavitation during sustained or aggressive use. A 24-click external compression adjuster allows the driver to dial damping feel to match terrain, tire size, or load. The 5/8" hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston, and application-specific valving round out a component built to FOX's Factory Race standard. Installs at the OEM tie rod clamp and eyelet mounting locations -- no additional hardware required. Sold as a single stabilizer.
