Product Description

The FOX 2.0 Performance Series Reservoir Shock is a smooth-body remote-reservoir shock built for GM 2500/3500 HD-platform trucks and SUVs that see a mix of stock-height driving and off-road use. The impact-extruded aluminum body and external reservoir dissipate heat faster than a conventional steel-body shock, keeping damping consistent under sustained hard use, while application-specific valving is tuned to the added weight and roll characteristics of these heavy-duty trucks.

The remote reservoir separates additional oil and nitrogen from the shock body, increasing total fluid capacity and reducing the risk of fade during extended off-road runs or heavy towing. A race-developed high-flow piston pairs with the reservoir to deliver a controlled, predictable ride at stock height or with up to 1" of lift, without the harshness that can come with a stiffer aftermarket shock.

This is a direct bolt-on replacement using the factory shock mounting bolts, with a billet aluminum reservoir clamp included. It's sold individually; two are required for a full rear pair. It's a fit for owners running stock-height to mildly lifted 2500/3500 HD trucks who want more heat capacity and control than the factory shock offers, without moving to a full long-travel or coilover setup.
