Product Description

The FOX 980-24-660 is a 2.0 Performance Series IFP rear shock covering 1999-2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500, 2002-2013 Chevy Avalanche 1500, and 2000-2020 Tahoe, Suburban 1500, Yukon, and Yukon XL 1500 -- 2WD and 4WD, all trims, stock height to 1 inch of lift. The IFP mono-tube separates shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen charge, eliminating aeration and fade under sustained off-road or rough-road cycling.

Application-specific valving is tuned for the GMT800, GMT900, and K2 platform rear suspension geometry. The impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body dissipates heat faster than steel and will not rust. Does not fit MRC-equipped vehicles. Matching front coilovers are FOX 985-02-009 (1999-2006) and FOX 985-02-018 (2007-2018), sold separately. Sold individually. Made in the USA.
