Product Description

The FOX 985-24-083 is a 2.0 Performance Series IFP smooth body rear shock designed for 1981-2011 Isuzu D-Max (2WD/4WD) and 2012-2014 Isuzu D-Max (4WD) with stock to 1" rear lift. The Internal Floating Piston mono-tube design keeps shock oil and nitrogen gas fully separated, eliminating aeration and maintaining consistent damping performance over extended off-road use. Application-specific valving delivers a controlled, connected on-road ride while improving off-road wheel articulation and composure.

The 2.0" impact-extruded aluminum body dissipates heat significantly faster than conventional steel shock bodies, helping maintain performance during back-to-back trail sections or long-distance highway driving. The redundant three-stage seal system guards against leaks in mud, water, and abrasive debris. Sold individually - order two for a complete rear axle replacement. Factory mounting hardware is reused for installation.
