Product Description

The FOX 883-26-169 delivers top-tier rear suspension performance for the 2025-2026 Toyota 4Runner, 2024-2026 Toyota Land Cruiser LC250, and 2024-2026 Lexus GX 550 - three vehicles sharing the same TNGA-F platform. Built on FOX's 3.2 Factory Race Series Internal Bypass (IBP) design, these shocks use patented multi-zone damping technology that allows shock fluid to bypass the main piston through bleed holes in the ride zone, producing a plush, predictable ride over everyday terrain. As the shock moves past the ride zone, the bleed holes close and all fluid routes through the main piston, progressively ramping up force to control hard hits, prevent bottom-outs, and provide confidence under big impacts.

The DSC EVO adjuster with Variable Valve Control sets this shock apart from standard DSC units - it independently tunes high- and low-speed compression without adding preload to the shim stack, preserving small-bump sensitivity even when high-speed compression is increased. The finned external reservoir improves heat dissipation and fluid capacity for sustained performance during extended off-road use. These rear shocks are purpose-built to complement the FOX 883-06-253 front coilover on the 6th Gen 4Runner, and pair equally well on the LC250 and GX 550 chassis for a complete Factory Race Series upgrade.
