Product Description

The FOX 987-24-024 is a 2.5 Performance Series IFP HTO front shock for the 2020-2026 Chevy and GMC Silverado/Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD in 2WD and 4WD, designed for raised torsion lift systems in the 5"-6.5" range. It will not fit OEM lower mounts -- the lower eyelet mount requires the raised positioning provided by lifted torsion systems. Sold individually; two required per vehicle.

The 2.5" impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body carries a larger piston and more oil volume than 2.0" shocks, delivering better heat dissipation and more consistent damping under sustained off-road use. The IFP separates oil from high-pressure nitrogen to eliminate aeration and maintain stable damping throughout the stroke. HTO (Hydraulic Top Out) technology routes oil through a secondary shim stack at full extension to slow shaft speed and reduce the harsh top-outs common on heavy-duty lifted trucks with aggressive tires. Vehicle-specific valving is tuned for the GM HD platform at the 5"-6.5" lift height. Fully rebuildable and re-tunable. Made in the USA. Backed by FOX's 1-year limited warranty.
