Product Description

The FOX 987-24-014 is a 2.5 Performance Series IFP HTO smooth body front shock designed for 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler JL models running a 3.5"-4" suspension lift. The 2.5" body diameter delivers a substantial increase in oil and nitrogen capacity over 2.0" shocks, improving thermal performance during extended trail use or repeated high-speed off-road runs. The Internal Floating Piston keeps oil and nitrogen fully separated for consistent, fade-free damping.

The standout feature is Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) technology, which activates a secondary shim stack as the shock approaches full extension. This slows the shaft speed near the end of travel, reducing the harsh, jarring top-out forces that become more pronounced with heavier tires or higher lifts. HTO is particularly beneficial on the Wrangler JL when running aggressive tire sizes with a 3.5"-4" lift. Sold individually - order two for a complete front axle replacement.
