Product Description

The FOX 985-24-182 is a 2.0 Performance Series smooth body IFP rear shock built for 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler JL running a 4.5 to 6-inch lift, with a 12.10-inch stroke matched to that lift range. An Internal Floating Piston separates shock oil from a high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber, eliminating oil aeration so the application-specific valving delivers consistent, predictable damping whether you're on pavement or off-road.

A 2.0-inch impact-extruded, CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum body resists rust and corrosion while dissipating heat faster than steel, and a hard chrome plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft is built for long-term wear resistance. This shock is designed as the rear half of a matched pair -- its front companion is FOX 985-24-181, tuned for the same 4.5-6 inch lift range.
