Product Description

The FOX 985-02-127 Performance Series 2.0 Through Shaft Steering Stabilizer is a single bolt-on stabilizer designed for the 2018-2025 Jeep Wrangler JL and 2020-2025 Gladiator JT. Derived from FOX's original ATS stabilizer, the Through Shaft (TS) architecture eliminates the shaft fluid displacement issue inherent in conventional steering stabilizers, where turning in one direction creates unequal internal pressure that pushes or pulls the steering. The TS design passes the shaft completely through the body, maintaining equal volume and neutral damping in both directions without the need for a second stabilizer or additional mounting hardware.

The 2.0" impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum body with clear anodized finish dissipates heat four times faster than conventional steel bodies, ensuring fade-resistant performance during extended off-road use. The internal floating piston (IFP) mono-tube design separates the advanced suspension fluid from the high-pressure nitrogen gas charge, eliminating oil aeration for consistent damping. Application-specific valving is tuned for the JL/JT platform to tame steering feedback from oversized off-road tires while maintaining precise on-road feel. The kit includes vehicle-specific brackets for direct installation in the factory stabilizer location -- no modifications required.
