Product Description

The FOX 985-02-122 Performance Series 2.0 TS Steering Stabilizer is engineered specifically for the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JK Unlimited equipped with a 1-5/8" tie rod (typical of aftermarket SteerSmarts and similar heavy-duty tie rod upgrades). Derived from FOX's original ATS stabilizer, the Through Shaft (TS) architecture is the breakthrough that eliminates shaft fluid displacement throughout the stabilizer's entire travel in both directions. Where conventional stabilizers push or pull steering back to a neutral state -- requiring dual opposing stabilizers to overcome -- the single TS unit delivers neutral and consistent damping of unwanted steering feedback in one compact bolt-on package.

The 2.0" impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body is clear-anodized for corrosion resistance and dissipates heat far faster than steel, while inside, FOX's race-developed high-flow piston design pairs with application-specific valving tuned for the JK platform. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design separates oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas charge to prevent cavitation under aggressive use. Black-anodized CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum components, a 5/8" hard-chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, and FOX's redundant sealing pack (main seal, wiper seal, scraper seal) ensure long-term reliability on oversized tires and demanding off-road conditions.
