Product Description

The FOX 983-02-143 is a Factory Race Series 2.0 ATS steering stabilizer designed for 2017-2023 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks at stock height or with up to 1.5" of lift. The Adjustable Through Shaft design eliminates the oil displacement problem found in conventional stabilizers, where the shaft entering the body creates unequal pressure that pushes or pulls the steering in one direction. By running the shaft completely through the body, the ATS maintains equal fluid volume regardless of shaft position, delivering neutral and consistent damping in both directions without requiring dual opposing stabilizers. The external piggyback reservoir adds fluid capacity and uses an Internal Floating Piston to keep the nitrogen charge separated from the hydraulic fluid, preventing cavitation during repeated steering corrections. A 24-click external compression adjuster lets you dial in the damping feel to match your driving style, tire size, and trail conditions without removing the stabilizer. The 2.0" CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum body is clear anodized for corrosion resistance, while the 5/8" chrome plated alloy steel shaft and redundant triple-seal system ensure long-term durability under aggressive steering inputs and off-road punishment. Trucks running greater than 1.5" of lift should use the 983-02-251, which includes the same stabilizer with a drop bracket for proper clearance.
