Product Description

The FOX 985-24-069 is a 2.0 Performance Series smooth body IFP rear shock built for the global-market 2011-2018 Ford Ranger T6, 4WD and RWD. An Internal Floating Piston separates shock oil from a high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber, eliminating oil aeration so the factory-tuned, application-specific valving delivers its full performance across everyday roads and rougher off-road terrain alike.

A 2.0-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body resists rust and corrosion while dissipating heat faster than a comparable steel-bodied shock, backed by a race-developed high-flow piston for smooth, efficient damping. Individually, this shock is rated for stock height up to a 1.5-inch lift; paired with FOX's matching front coilover (PN 983-02-085) as a set, the kit is rated up to 2 inches of lift.

This is a single rear shock; factory-reusable mounting hardware is included, though shock boots, roost shields, and mounting plates are sold separately. Backed by FOX's Limited Lifetime Warranty.
