Product Description

The Fox 980-24-968 2.0 Performance Series Reservoir Shock Absorber is engineered to enhance the suspension performance of your lifted 2011-2019 GM 2500HD/3500HD truck. Designed for vehicles with a 7-9 inch front lift, this shock absorber features a 2.0-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body that dissipates heat more efficiently than conventional steel bodies, ensuring consistent performance under demanding conditions.

Its external reservoir increases oil and nitrogen capacity, reducing shock fade during extended use. The race-developed high-flow piston design and application-specific valving deliver a predictable and comfortable ride, both on and off-road. The shock's construction includes a 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft and black-anodized CNC-machined billet aluminum components for durability and longevity.

Installation is straightforward, utilizing factory mounting bolts and including a billet reservoir clamp. Please note that this shock is not compatible with lift kits that modify the original equipment mounting points.
