Product Description

The FOX 983-02-051 is a 2.0 Performance Series front coil-over with Internal Floating Piston (IFP) for the 2010-2024 Toyota 4Runner (5th gen), 2010-2023 Lexus GX 460, 2010-2014 FJ Cruiser, and 2010-2014 Land Cruiser Prado 150. These vehicles share the same front suspension platform. This direct bolt-on coil-over provides 0-2" of adjustable front lift over stock height, designed to level the factory front-to-rear rake while dramatically improving ride quality and off-road capability. The IFP mono-tube design separates shock oil from high-pressure nitrogen gas, eliminating oil aeration for consistent, fade-free damping. Application-specific valving is tuned by FOX engineers to maximize on-road comfort and off-road handling. Does not fit XREAS-equipped models, the 2025+ 6th gen 4Runner (different 4-bolt top mount), or the 2024+ Lexus GX 550 (new platform).

The precision 6061-T6 aluminum body dissipates heat three to four times faster than conventional steel, ensuring sustained performance during extended off-road use. Black anodized CNC-machined billet aluminum components provide strength and corrosion resistance. The vehicle-specific 3-bolt upper mount includes a composite bushing that isolates noise and vibration. Locking preload rings retain an Eibach racing coil spring selected for the optimal spring rate, allowing easy ride height and preload adjustment.
