Product Description

The FOX 980-24-641 is a 2.0 Performance Series IFP front shock for the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JK Unlimited, tuned for applications with 4"-6" of suspension lift. It bolts directly onto the factory front mounting locations -- sold individually, two are required for a complete front axle set. Matching rear shock is FOX 980-24-642.

The 2.0" impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body carries an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) monotube design that separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen charge, eliminating oil aeration and maintaining consistent, fade-resistant damping under sustained hard off-road use. Application-specific valving is tuned for the JK's weight and geometry at the 4"-6" lift height, delivering a controlled, predictable ride on-road and off-road without the harshness common in lifted applications running OEM or entry-level shocks. 5/8" hard chrome shaft.
