The FOX 985-24-105 Performance Series 2.0 Smooth Body Reservoir Rear Shock is built for 1999-2016 Ford F-250/F-350 4WD trucks lifted **1.5-3.5 inches**. It's designed as the "smaller lift" counterpart to the 985-24-106, retaining the same build quality -- a smooth-body 2.0" extruded aluminum housing, remote reservoir, high-flow piston, and durable finishing. The shorter stroke is tuned for lower lift heights to preserve ride quality and geometry.

Installation is bolt-on at the rear using OEM or compatible mounting points, with the necessary hardware included. The external reservoir allows greater fluid capacity and better cooling under load, ensuring consistent damping performance. Ideal for owners who want improved off-road or lifted ride behavior without going to full 4-6" shocks (covered by 24-106).
