Product Description

The FOX 980-24-647 2.0 Performance Series Rear Shock is engineered to upgrade the rear suspension performance on Ford Super Duty trucks equipped with stock or slight rear lift (0-1"). Utilizing FOX's Internal Floating Piston (IFP) technology, this mono-tube shock maintains separation of high-pressure nitrogen gas and oil, providing consistent damping performance across varied terrain and load conditions. The 6061-T6 CNC-machined aluminum body resists corrosion and improves heat dissipation, extending shock life and reliability.

Designed as a direct-fit replacement for select 1999-2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty models as well as 2005-2016 F-450 and F-550 trucks, the 980-24-647 enhances ride control, rear suspension articulation, and stability without sacrificing comfort. Its valving is tuned specifically for rear applications with up to 1" of lift, making it ideal for mild lifted trucks used both on- and off-road.
