The Ford Racing M-5490-BKA is the OEM replacement urethane bushing kit for the Ford Performance M-5490-A Anti-Roll Sway Bar Kit, designed for 2005-2014 Ford Mustang GT, Boss 302, Shelby GT, and Shelby GT500 Coupe models. Over time, urethane bushings can compress, crack, or wear - leading to increased body roll, vague handling response, and unwanted noise. This kit provides every bushing needed to fully restore the sway bar to like-new operating condition.

The red urethane bushings offer a firmer, more performance-oriented feel compared to OE rubber, maintaining the handling benefits of the M-5490-A kit throughout its service life. Ford Performance recommends inspecting these bushings every 12 months and replacing them at the first sign of wear. This kit covers the front position only and does not include end links or frame bushings. Convertible models are not compatible.
