Product Description

The Ford Performance M-3000-PB4 is the rear-only lowering kit engineered specifically for the 2021-2026 Ford F-150 PowerBoost Hybrid in both 2WD and 4WD SuperCab and SuperCrew configurations. Unlike the standard non-PowerBoost lowering kits, which cannot be used on the hybrid platform due to the PowerBoost's unique rear suspension geometry and hybrid powertrain, the M-3000-PB4 is purpose-built around the PowerBoost's specific dimensional and angle requirements. The kit delivers an approximate 1.5-inch rear ride height reduction - enough to meaningfully reverse the factory nose-up rake and give the PowerBoost F-150 a cleaner, leveled sport truck stance without altering the front suspension.

The laser-cut steel shackles replace the factory rear leaf spring shackles with a longer unit, which is the mechanism through which the rear drop is achieved. The shackles are powder coated for corrosion resistance and paired with urethane bushings for consistent axle alignment and durable, long-term operation. Several key engineering improvements over prior-generation designs are incorporated: a grease fitting on the lower shackle tube allows periodic regreasing to prevent bushing wear and squeaking, a bushing grease groove improves internal lubrication distribution, and a DOM (Drawn Over Mandrel) center tube with tighter manufacturing tolerances reduces play and improves fit. A transmission spacer is included to correct driveline angles after the rear drop - preventing the vibrations that commonly result from rear lowering installations that do not account for angle changes.

The M-3000-PB4 is the only factory-engineered rear lowering solution validated by Ford Performance for the F-150 PowerBoost Hybrid platform. It is compatible with both 2WD and 4WD PowerBoost SuperCab and SuperCrew models - broader fitment than the full front+rear PowerBoost kit (M-3000-P4), which is 4WD only. PowerBoost owners who want a complete front and rear drop in 4WD should reference M-3000-P4. This kit does not fit the F-150 Raptor, Lightning, or Tremor, nor any standard gas or diesel F-150 variant.
