The Ford Racing M-6550-3V High Lift Hot Rod Camshaft Set is engineered to enhance the performance and auditory character of your 2005-2010 Mustang GT equipped with the 4.6L 3V SOHC V8 engine. By increasing the valve lift from the stock 11mm (0.433") to 12mm (0.472"), these camshafts provide improved airflow, resulting in increased horsepower and torque.

With an intake duration of 221° and exhaust duration of 240° at 0.050" lift, along with a lobe separation angle of 110°, these camshafts are designed for both naturally aspirated and supercharged applications. They are compatible with the stock valve springs, followers, and lash adjusters up to 6,800 RPM, making them a direct bolt-on upgrade without the need for additional components.

The M-6550-3V camshafts deliver a distinctive "lopey" idle reminiscent of classic muscle cars, adding to the driving experience. For optimal performance, pairing these camshafts with Ford Performance CNC-ported heads and a custom calibration is recommended. Please note that a custom tune is required to achieve the best results, and the calibration is not included with the camshaft set.
