Product Description

The Fluidampr 300024 is the Holding Tool - Small, a purpose-built damper installation and crankshaft barring tool released in March 2026. It is the smaller-diameter companion to the existing Fluidampr Holding Tool (p/n 300020), extending coverage to the tighter pulley bolt circle patterns found on popular import engines including the Toyota 2JZ, Subaru EJ, FA20, and FA24, and Honda B and K series. The tool fastens directly into the accessory drive pulley mounting bolt holes, locking the damper in place so the installer can torque the crankshaft bolt solo - no assistant needed to hold the engine from rotating.

Beyond installation, the 300024 doubles as a barring tool: with the damper installed and the tool engaged, a 1/2-inch breaker bar or ratchet can be used to manually rotate the crankshaft for TDC setup, timing verification, or engine positioning during assembly. Covers bolt circle diameters from Ø2.4 to Ø4.7 inches, making it compatible with the majority of small-diameter import and some domestic dampers in a single universal tool. Not compatible with flange mount dampers. Made in the USA.
