Product Description

Swapping in a heavier rear bumper - especially one with a hitch or tire carrier - puts more stress on the factory crossmember than it was designed to handle, and over time that can mean sag or pull-away under load. The FB21074 addresses this directly by tying the bumper mount back to the frame with a gusseted 3/16" steel bracket, spreading that load out instead of concentrating it at the crossmember.

It's built to work with Fishbone's own TJ rear bumpers as well as factory and other aftermarket setups, and the cutout in the support bar keeps your rear body mount bolts accessible for maintenance down the road - a small detail that saves real frustration during later service work.
