Product Description

The Firestone 2176 Ride-Rite rear air helper spring kit is designed for Ford F-350/F-450 Super Duty and GM Silverado/Sierra 3500HD cab and chassis models. These heavy-duty double convoluted air springs mount between the frame and leaf spring suspension, providing 3,200 to 5,000 lbs of adjustable load leveling capacity per set. Individual inflation valves allow independent side-to-side and front-to-rear adjustment from 5 to 100 PSI, keeping the truck level under off-center or variable loads. The system reduces inter-leaf friction for a smoother ride, improves braking effectiveness and steering control under load, and helps prevent suspension sag and bottoming out.

This kit is specifically engineered for cab and chassis configurations -- flatbeds, service bodies, utility trucks, and similar upfit applications. It will NOT fit F-350 or F-450 models with a factory pickup bed (use Firestone 2550 or 2583 respectively). Installation requires drilling and typically takes 1-2 hours. Minimum tire-to-frame clearance of 7.5 inches is required on both sides. The kit includes everything needed for installation; optional Firestone Air Command compressor and wireless control systems are available separately.
