The FAST 54088 Big Mouth LT 87mm Throttle Body is engineered for Chrysler Gen III HEMI applications requiring drive-by-cable throttle control, making it essential for FAST XFI and EZ-EFI system installations on engines originally equipped with throttle-by-wire. Compatible with all 5.7L, 6.1L, and 6.4L HEMI V8 engines found in Chrysler 300, Dodge Challenger, Charger, Magnum, Durango, Ram trucks, and Jeep Grand Cherokee and Commander models. Constructed from billet aluminum with a durable black wrinkle powder coat finish, this throttle body features an 87mm bore that substantially increases airflow capacity over the factory unit to support higher horsepower builds. The increased throttle blade thickness eliminates deflection issues commonly found in other throttle bodies, particularly critical in boosted applications. An offset blade pivot design improves throttle response, while the progressive throttle pulley enhances drivability at low throttle openings for smooth street manners. The dual return spring mechanism and beefed up linkage ensure total throttle control with a solid pedal feel and added safety. This throttle body requires GM-style TPS and IAC sensors which must be purchased separately, or select Part# 54089 for a complete kit with sensors included.
