The FASS SK5501 Single-Bolt Sump Kit solves one of the most common complaints with aftermarket lift pump systems -- fuel starvation, cavitation, or hard starts once the tank drops below a quarter full. Rather than relying on the factory pickup location, this sump draws fuel directly from the lowest point of the tank, ensuring a steady, consistent supply even under heavy towing, hard acceleration, or braking.

A single central bolt and internal o-ring seal make installation fast and leak-free, requiring only one drilled hole in the tank -- no dropping the tank required. The extra-large 6061 billet aluminum bowl acts as a reservoir, keeping fuel available to the lift pump even when the tank is running low, protecting injection components from starvation-related damage.
