Product Description

The Exedy HCK1016 Stage 0 OE Clutch Kit is a direct OEM-replacement clutch designed for the 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type R (FK8) and 2023-2026 Honda Civic Type R (FL5), both powered by the 2.0L Turbo K20C1 inline-four and paired with the factory 6-speed manual transmission. Exedy is a tier-one Honda OE supplier -- this clutch is built to the exact specifications of the original factory unit, restoring factory pedal feel, engagement point, and torque capacity without requiring any drivetrain modifications.

The kit includes a 240mm (9-7/16 inch) sprung-hub organic friction disc, a diaphragm-style pressure plate, and all supporting hardware: release bearing, pilot bearing, alignment tool, and a pack of clutch lubricant. The sprung-hub disc design dampens drivetrain shock and minimizes chatter for smooth daily-driver engagement, while the diaphragm pressure plate provides consistent clamp load through the clutch's service life. Note: the Civic Type R skipped the 2022 model year -- the FK8 ended in 2021 and the FL5 launched as a 2023 model year. A flywheel resurface or replacement is recommended at the time of clutch service.
