The Exedy MM022SDF is a Hyper Twin Organic clutch kit for the 1996-2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV/V/VI and 2001-2006 Evolution VII/VIII/IX, rated for approximately 500 ft-lb of torque at the flywheel. The twin organic configuration uses two sprung damper discs that double the friction surface area over the OEM single-disc setup -- the solution for Evo owners who have significantly increased power and need a clutch that can hold it without sacrificing street drivability. The organic friction material and sprung disc design provide smooth, progressive engagement with minimal chatter, making the MM022SDF one of the few high-capacity twin-disc setups suitable for daily driving.

All Exedy Hyper Twin kits include the lightweight chromoly steel flywheel and the brand's signature purple anodized forged aluminum cover. The kit is pull-type -- matching the factory clutch actuation style -- and is completely rebuildable using separately available replacement discs.
