Product Description

The Exedy 15954 is a Stage 2 Cerametallic clutch kit for non-turbo Subaru models including the 1997-2017 Impreza, 1998-2013 Forester, 1996-2012 Legacy, 2003-2006 Baja, and 2005-2006 Saab 9-2X equipped with the 2.5L H4 SOHC or 3.0L H6 DOHC engine. The Stage 2 features a thick cerametallic cushion button disc that combines high-temperature ceramic facing with marcel cushion springs for smooth street-friendly engagement while supporting significantly more power than a stock clutch assembly. The sprung hub center damper reduces impact and shock loads transmitted through the drivetrain.

The pressure plate delivers approximately 40% higher clamp load than the OEM unit using ductile casting material for high burst strength across all temperature ranges, resulting in a torque capacity of 228 ft-lbs at the wheels. Designed for modified naturally aspirated Subaru engines -- ideal for street, rally, and track use. Does not fit WRX or STI turbo models. Flywheel must be resurfaced to manufacturer specifications before installation or the warranty is void. SFI 1.1 certified for use in sanctioned competitive motorsports.
