Product Description

The Energy Suspension 4.2150R is a rear leaf spring bushing set engineered for the 1997-2003 Ford F-150 and 1997-1998 Ford F-250, replacing the forward spring eye bushings and shackle bushings on both the left and right rear leaf springs. Factory rubber bushings in these positions compress and crack over time, causing the rear axle to shift under load, rear-end handling to become vague, and metallic clunking and squeaking to develop. The Hyper-Flex polyurethane replacement set restores precise leaf spring alignment and resists the chemical and mechanical degradation that destroys rubber in real-world use conditions.

The firmer polyurethane durometer significantly reduces axle wrap under hard acceleration and braking - a tangible improvement for towing, hauling, and performance driving applications. For maximum benefit, Energy Suspension recommends pairing this kit with heavy-duty or performance leaf springs.
