The Energy Suspension 5.4103G is a sub-frame bushing set for the first-generation Mitsubishi Eclipse and Eagle Talon TSi FWD, replacing the factory rubber sub-frame mounting bushings with Energy's firmer Hyper-Flex polyurethane. Sub-frame bushings sit at a structurally important connection point, so worn ones don't just affect ride quality - they let the entire front or rear subframe shift slightly under load, degrading alignment precision and handling response.

By stiffening this connection, drivers typically notice reduced wheel hop under hard acceleration, more consistent braking behavior, and generally tighter, more predictable handling - the kind of improvement that shows up most under the exact conditions (hard launches, aggressive cornering) where a worn factory bushing would otherwise let things get sloppy.
