Product Description

The Eibach Pro-Kit brings progressive-rate spring engineering to the 2012-2015 Honda Civic Si and 2013-2015 Acura ILX Base, two closely related platforms that share this same spring family despite differing badges. The cold-formed spring steel construction and powder-coat finish are built to hold up under daily use, and every spring is precision-tuned to work specifically with the factory damper valving on these cars.

The progressive coil geometry is what separates this from a simple linear-rate lowering spring: initial travel stays soft enough to absorb small bumps and expansion joints comfortably, then the rate ramps up as the suspension compresses further under hard cornering, braking, or acceleration. That progressive curve is what allows a meaningful drop in ride height without the harsh, jittery ride that comes from a straight-rate aftermarket spring fighting an unmodified factory shock -- and it's the reason the kit is rated for use with factory dampers rather than requiring a shock upgrade to run correctly.

The rear bump stop swap is the one installation step that goes beyond a straight spring compressor job: the stock rear unit has to come out and be replaced with the included Eibach piece before the new springs go in, while the front side needs no modification at all. Budgeting for that step up front avoids a surprise mid-install.

It's built for owners who want a noticeably lower, more planted stance and sharper turn-in on a car they still drive every day -- not a track-only setup, but a meaningful step up from stock geometry, backed by Eibach's five-year warranty.
