Description

Vehicle Fitment

  • Universal / Multi-Fit - suitable for gasoline engines undergoing EFI conversion or swap that require high-pressure fuel delivery, when original fuel system was a low-pressure carburetor setup.

Features

  • Self-contained EFI fuel sump system with internal high-pressure electric pump and regulator - no need for fuel tank modifications or return line.
  • Adjustable fuel pressure: 35-90 PSI - compatible with most aftermarket EFI systems.
  • High flow rate of 67 GPH (≈ 255 LPH) - supports up to ~600 HP naturally-aspirated engines.
  • Vacuum-referenced regulator with internal bypass - stable pressure under varying load and throttle conditions.
  • Compact under-hood design - convenient for engine swaps and retrofit projects.
  • Includes wiring harness and mounting hardware for installation flexibility.
  • Allows reuse of factory fuel tank and pump - simplifies EFI conversions on older carbureted vehicles.
  • No external regulator or return line required - reduces complexity and potential leak points.

Specifications

  • Flow Rate: 67 GPH (~255 LPH)
  • Fuel Pressure Range: 35-90 PSI (adjustable)
  • Fuel Pump Type: Internal high-pressure electric pump in sump tank
  • Compatibility: Gasoline (standard pump-gas); not rated for E85 / alcohol or highly oxygenated fuels
  • Outlet/Inlet Fitting: -6 AN female O-ring (requires appropriate hose/fittings)
  • External Size (approx): 9" Height x 10" Width x 3.75" Depth
  • Supports Engine Output: Up to approx. 600 HP (naturally aspirated) with adequate fuel demand
  • Mounting: Includes hardware and wiring harness; sump only - hose and fittings need to be supplied or selected by installer

Included Components

  • 1x Fuel sump tank with internal high-pressure electric pump & adjustable regulator
  • 1x Wiring harness / pump power pigtail
  • Mounting hardware (grommets, bushings, bolts, washers, spacers) for under-hood installation
  • Note: Hose, fittings, and high-pressure fuel lines are not included - installer must supply hose/fittings compatible with -6 AN outlet and rated for high-pressure fuel use.

Product Description

The Edelbrock 36032 Universal EFI Fuel Sump is designed for builders and enthusiasts converting carbureted vehicles to EFI or performing engine swaps where a high-pressure fuel supply is required. The self-contained unit houses both the electric fuel pump and adjustable pressure regulator, delivering a strong 67 GPH flow with adjustable fuel pressure from 35 to 90 PSI - suitable for many aftermarket EFI systems and engines up to ~600 HP. Because it draws from the existing fuel tank using the factory pump or low-pressure feed, there is no need for fuel-tank modifications, return lines, or external regulators, simplifying installation and reducing complexity.

The compact sump assembly mounts under the hood, making it ideal for retrofit-style engine swaps or EFI conversions in older vehicles. The vacuum-referenced regulator ensures stable fuel pressure regardless of throttle or load changes, while the internal bypass and pump design help prevent fuel starvation even under continuous demand. Because the 36032 only includes the sump, pump and mounting hardware - but not hoses or high-pressure fuel lines - proper installation requires selecting fuel-rated lines and fittings (e.g. -6 AN hose) and routing a vent/overflow line back to the fuel tank. With careful installation and correct components, 36032 offers a reliable, efficient, and relatively easy path to EFI fuel-system readiness.
