• This is a universal air cleaner assembly sold by carburetor neck diameter - verify your carburetor uses a 5-1/8 inch (5.125 inch) air horn diameter before ordering.
• The 1223 features a dropped base (deep flange) with a 0.625 inch drop - this is 3/8 inch taller than Edelbrock #1207 and #1206. If hood clearance is tight, compare net height from carb flange (3.75 inches) against available clearance before ordering.
• Knock-outs are provided in the air cleaner base for use with Edelbrock crankcase ventilation adapter #1205 (sold separately). If crankcase ventilation routing through the air cleaner base is required, the adapter and appropriate hose must be purchased separately.
• The crankcase ventilation nut (#325-4219) and vent adapter (#325-1205) are recommended when using the base knock-outs - sold separately.
• This air cleaner assembly is NOT compatible with 2-barrel carburetors or carburetors with a neck diameter other than 5-1/8 inch.
