Product Description

The EBC S9KR1293 Stage 9 "Super Sleeper" rear brake kit is a bolt-on performance enhancement tailored for the Mazda MX-5 Miata (2006-2015). This kit combines GG-rated Yellowstuff pads with fine-slotted USR rotors and GG high-friction, delivering a strong brake bite cold, with minimal dust and noise. The Brake-In™ coating enables fast, consistent pad bedding, and the Geomet anti-rust coating protects rotor surfaces.

These rotors maintain OEM sizing (280 mm x 40 mm height) to preserve fitment while adding thermal capacity. The kit is OEM-caliper compatible and installs in about 1 hour per side using standard tools. Covered by a 12-month/10,000-mile street warranty; race use voids coverage. Fitment confirmed through 2015; coverage for 2016+ Miata models is unverified as of July 18, 2025.
