Product Description

The EBC S9KR1309 Stage 9 "Super Sleeper" rear brake kit is specifically designed for the Mini Cooper S and John Cooper Works models (2002-2017). Featuring high-friction GG-rated Yellowstuff pads and low-noise USR slotted rotors, this kit delivers up to 40% more stopping power immediately - ideal for spirited driving, track days, or daily use. Brake-In™ coatings accelerate pad bedding, while Geomet-treated rotors resist corrosion.

This bolt-on rear kit installs easily using factory calipers and hardware. Rotors maintain OEM diameter while increasing thickness and venting for better heat absorption without clearance issues. Installation requires about 1 hour per side with standard tools. Covered by a 12-month/10k-mile street warranty (void if used in racing). Fitment confirmed through 2017; Mini discontinued the Cooper S and JCW models in 2017 and no 2025 coverage applies.
