Product Description

The EBC S8KR1072 is a Stage 8 rear brake kit combining EBC Orangestuff high-friction brake pads with GD Series dimpled and slotted vented rotors. The kit is designed for selected Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 applications using the specified 330 mm rear brake configuration.

The GD7558 rotors feature cast-iron construction, a vented design, dimpled and slotted friction surfaces, and a Geomet anti-corrosion coating. The wide-aperture design assists heat and friction-gas evacuation, while the slotted and dimpled surface helps clear water, dust, debris, and gases during repeated braking. The ED91872 Orangestuff/Extra Duty pads provide a high-friction formulation intended for demanding street, towing, oversized-tire, and performance applications.

This rear kit is intended for vehicles equipped with the matching 330 mm vented rear brake system. Grand Cherokee WK2 applications extend through 2021, while validated Durango applications extend through 2023. SRT, SRT8, and Trackhawk Grand Cherokee models use different rear brake hardware and should not be assigned this kit. Verify the original rear rotor diameter, thickness, and pad configuration before installation.
