Product Description

The EBC S5KR1580 is a premium rear brake kit designed for select Volkswagen and Audi models equipped with electronic parking brakes (EPB). Featuring GG-rated Yellowstuff pads and GD slotted/dimpled rotors, it delivers significant gains in cold-bite braking performance, fade resistance, and thermal management - making it ideal for spirited street driving and occasional track use.

Rotors are 310 mm in diameter, 22 mm thick, and include Thermic Black coating to resist corrosion during bedding. Brake-In™ surface treatment speeds up pad rotor mating, while factory-installed shims and chamfers ensure near-OEM silence with no vibration. This direct-bolt kit ensures easy installation and compatibility with rear EPB actuators.

Fitment is confirmed through 2022 for all listed vehicles and trims. 2023+ model year fitment is unconfirmed at time of listing. This is a rear-axle specific kit - front pads must be upgraded separately to maintain balanced brake performance. Suitable for both FWD and AWD/4Motion setups. Always pair with front upgrades for system harmony.
