Product Description

The EBC S5KR1524 rear brake kit is designed to upgrade braking performance for 2008-2023 Subaru WRX, 2018-2023 Subaru Crosstrek, 2017-2023 Subaru Impreza, and 2016-2023 Subaru Forester models. This kit combines high-friction GG-rated Yellowstuff pads with GD-series rotors featuring slots and dimples for superior cooling and fade resistance.

Rotors feature Thermic Black Geomet coating to prevent corrosion during bedding, while the Brake-In™ red pad surface speeds the bedding process for optimal braking response. The pads come pre-shimmed and chamfered for quiet, vibration-free operation. Installation is bolt-on with no modifications needed.

Fitment is confirmed through model year 2023; 2024 and later model coverage is unconfirmed at the time of listing. This kit is not compatible with models equipped with electric parking brakes. For consistent braking performance, consider upgrading front brakes alongside this rear kit.
