Product Description

The EBC S5KR1061 pairs the GD7440 rear rotor with the DP41193R Yellowstuff rear pad, covering the shared Honda/Acura rear brake platform used across the Honda Accord, Acura TSX, Acura ILX, and Honda HR-V. The rotor uses wide aperture scraper slots and blind-drilled dimples to draw cool air into the contact area and resist the stress cracking that can develop on through-drilled designs, all finished in a silver corrosion-resistant coating.

Yellowstuff is EBC's most aggressive street-legal pad compound, delivering strong braking bite right from cold rather than requiring a warm-up period. Fully shimmed and chamfered, the pads carry EBC's patented Brake-In surface coating for fast initial bedding -- full bedding typically takes 300 to 500 miles.

Together, the slotted rotor and high-friction pad maintain flat, parallel wear across the life of the set, avoiding the uneven wear that develops with mismatched compounds.
