The EBC S13KR1438 is a Stage 13 rear brake upgrade combining EBC Yellowstuff high-friction brake pads with RK1197 smooth solid rear rotors. The kit is designed for selected Mazda, Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury applications using the specified 280mm rear brake configuration. The RK1197 rotor features a 10mm thickness, 40mm height, 72mm center bore, and 5-lug design.

The Yellowstuff pads use an aramid-fiber friction material engineered for strong performance in demanding street applications. They are fully shimmed, chamfered, and slotted and feature EBC Brake-in coating to assist with initial bedding. The RK1197 rotors use OE-style solid cast-iron construction, a smooth friction surface, Geomet anti-corrosion coating, and balanced/runout-tested manufacturing.
