Fitment Notes

  • Fits front axle only - sold as a complete left and right rotor pair
  • Direct OE-style bolt-on replacement; no vehicle modifications required
  • Compatible with all GR Corolla trims sharing the standard front brake setup on platform GZEA14

Features

  • Fully-floating 2-piece design using EBC's patented SD-Drive technology bobbins, allowing the cast iron friction ring to expand and contract freely by up to 3mm under extreme braking heat
  • Outer friction rings cast from high-copper, high-carbon G3500 disc alloy for excellent resistance to wear and thermal cracking
  • Aerospace-grade aluminum bell, precision machined and hard anodized for strength, corrosion resistance, and lasting appearance
  • All bobbins machined from a single piece of stainless steel to prevent corrosion and maintain free float over time
  • Anti-rattle spring clips at each bobbin location for completely silent, rattle-free operation
  • 48 directionally-handed curved vanes (left and right specific) maximize airflow and heat dissipation under track conditions
  • Significant unsprung rotational mass reduction versus OE single-piece rotors, improving turn-in, tyre contact, and acceleration
  • Worn outer friction rings can be replaced independently - the aluminum bell and bobbins are reused to lower long-term costs

Product Description

The EBC SG2F024 is a 356x28mm fully-floating 2-piece front brake rotor set developed specifically for the 2023-2025 Toyota GR Corolla (GZEA14). These rotors bolt directly onto the front axle of all GR Corolla trims - Core, Premium, Premium Plus, Circuit Edition, and Morizo Edition - without any vehicle modifications required. The swept groove disc surface enhances initial bite, assists with gas and debris evacuation, and promotes more consistent friction characteristics under repeated hard stops.

At the heart of the SG2F024 is EBC's SD-Drive bobbin system, which allows the G3500 high-carbon cast iron friction ring to float freely on the anodized aluminum bell, expanding and contracting by up to 3mm under the intense thermal load generated during aggressive or track-day driving. This thermal management prevents warping and thermal cracking that can affect standard single-piece rotors. The 48 curved, directionally-handed cooling vanes ensure airflow is always moving in the optimal direction for maximum heat dissipation, and all stainless steel bobbins are machined from a single piece for long-term corrosion resistance and float integrity.

Purpose-built for GR Corolla owners who push their cars on track or during performance driving events, the SG2F024 offers a meaningful reduction in unsprung rotational mass over the factory rotor, translating to sharper turn-in, improved tyre contact, and better braking feel under load. When the outer cast iron ring eventually reaches minimum thickness, only that component needs replacing - the aluminum bell and all hardware are reused - making these a cost-effective long-term upgrade. Designed, manufactured, and run-out tested at EBC's UK headquarters.
