The EBC SG2F022 is a front racing 2-piece fully floating brake rotor set designed for high-performance BMW G8X applications. It uses Swept Groove slotted friction rings with a fully floating mounting arrangement to help the rotor expand and contract more evenly under repeated high-heat braking. This design helps maintain pedal consistency, improves thermal stability, and supports hard street or track use better than many conventional 1-piece rotors.

Verified fitment supports 2021-2025 BMW M3 G80 and 2021-2025 BMW M4 G82/G83 applications using the 380x36 mm front rotor configuration. Cross-validation also supports the exclusion of factory carbon-ceramic brake setups. This is a front rotor set only, not a pad kit, and no lift or drop height applies because it is not a suspension component. Fitment is confirmed through 2025 in the reviewed source set.
